A few days ago it was -23 and snow drifts.
But spring came unexpectedly and everything started to swim.
Yesterday, having arrived home from work, I discovered that my flower bed with roses was completely flooded. In addition to roses, many different bulbous plants are planted there. Survived all night. But now the water is gone a little.
The site with the royal friillillaria is also flooded. I'm worried about bulbs. I can lose the whole landing.
But the experiment with rhododendron was successful. The plant survived a 23-degree frost without shelter at all with small losses - some yellowed leaves, and so everything is unharmed.

Another couple of days and the pond will be free of ice. My favorite ducks and starlings will fly.
By the way, the cranes have already arrived, yesterday I saw a couple on the field.
Galanthus showed their leaves and buds.

I wish everyone a quick approach to warm and sunny days!
Good luck with the roses!
