Itinerary
Day 1 – Pick up from the airport and Myeik Sightseeing
Day 2 – Harris Island or Marcus Island Snorkeling Trip
Day 3 – Sea Gypsy Village and Smart Island Snorkeling Trip
Day 4 – Hotel Check-Out and flight to Yangon
Day 1 – Pick up from the airport and Myeik Sightseeing
In the morning flight time, the tour guide will pick you up at Myeik airport and check in for room accommodation. After taking some rest at hotel, we will start for our tour. Your guide will take you to wooden ship yard where boats in Myeik come from and how much expenses per one. Next destination is soft shell crab farming area and you can learn what the farmers feed the crabs, how they farm and why the crab’s shell is soft. If you have any more questions, do not hesitate to discuss with your guide.
Then you can go to Thal Inn Gu pagoda for Myeik’s scenery for a while. Your lunch will be on the way. The guide will bring your to cashew nut production. You can observe where most of the cashew nuts come from, why they are popular and how the employee gets salary.
Myeik is one of the biggest fishing towns in Myanmar. So the dry fish is important requirement of Myeik’s business. So you can learn how fishermen make dry fish and their techniques on different fishes. And colonial building house and pearl shop are welcome to you.
Then you can go to lobster and mantis shrimp storage area and where they get lobsters, why they keep it and where they send. Tour guide will arrange for natural bird’s nest house. You will see how swift let bird build their nests and their reason.
Now we should visit to reclining Buddha image. Then return back to Thein Taw Gyi pagoda at Myeik for a nice sunset. And finally, the guide will send you off to your hotel. Take a shower and relax at your hotel.

Day 2 – Harris Island or Marcus Island Snorkeling Trip
In the morning, after you enjoy your hotel breakfast, the island tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby at 7:15Am. The car will send you off to Myeik Jetty called Seik Nge Jetty and the speed boat will depart from harbor at 8:00Am. Along the way, you can breathe in breezing fresh air and feel free with Andaman Sea or Mergui Archipelago.
Our first stop will be fish farming area which is situated around Kadan Island called King Island (especially foreigners). You can see grouper fishes, sea perches, stone fish that can be found around stones and experience at there about how the farmers live on the farms, what they feed for the fishes, how they do business. If you have any more questions, do be shy to ask you tour guide. If someone wants to make BBQ on the beach, you can buy some fishes on the farms with your own pocket.
And making observation at fish farm, we will go to Marcus island resort, which is had some restaurant, showering, toilet. Lunch will be on Marcus Island with Islander’s sweet smiles. You can make walking along the beach, sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling in clear salty water.
We also will stop at Thameehla (Beautiful Daughter) Island for swimming, snorkeling in crystal clear water, capturing some photos and showering in small water (the fresh water can be less on summer season). Our arrival might be around 5:30Pm back to city and then car driver and tour guide will send you off to your hotel.

Day 3 – Sea Gypsy Village and Smart Island Snorkeling Trip
In the morning, after you enjoy your hotel breakfast, the island tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby around 7:15Am. The car will send you off to Myeik Jetty (Seik Nge Jetty) and the speed boat will depart from harbor at 8:00Am. Along the way, you can breathe in breezing fresh air and feel free with Andaman Sea or Mergui Archipelago.
We will go firstly to Dome waterfall which is against and flowing the fresh water from the mountain towards sea. You can take a shower with the fresh water and make some capturing with your groups.
And we will go to Nyaung Mai village where sea gypsies or sea men live for a long time. You can see not only sea gypsy but also other ethnic groups strangely. You will have a nice lunch on the village with islander’s sweet’s hospitalities. After our lunch time, we can make an observation around sea gypsy’s area about their daily fishing lives, where they came from and how difficult they live on the island. If you have further more questions, the tour guide will explain you.
Our final destination will be Smart Island that has clear sea water and quite environment. You can make waking along the beach, sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling coral reef and colorful fishes. Our arrival might be around 5:30Pm back to city and then car driver and tour guide will send you off to your hotel.

Day 4 – Hotel Check-Out and flight to Yangon
After you enjoy with your hotel breakfast, your guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby around 8:00Am in the morning. The guide will show you what the people do for cooking and living at the market. You can learn about local daily life and return to hotel. Take some relax and wait for ready to leave to airport for your flight time or bus station.
