I literally JUST wrote about this(sort of/mostly) and I do think it's bad. Busy modified their UX to feel more like a social network(the whole short post thing) and I think that's great, but there's still a negative stigma around the equivalent of a status update or tweet which I think is a net negative. I hope we can just get over that.
