Thanks for posting this. Every click on the internet and every purchase we make is really voting with our money and purchasing power.
Luckily there are local clothing manufactures and tailors here in Korea. There are also independent boutiques and designers. The advantage is these clothes don't smell like chemicals to the point of making the consumers high. These "local" clothes also last longer and have zippers that work. The disadvantage is the price. But in the end I am paying a greater price when I buy cheap clothes. My kids need new clothes all the time. The best source is relatives and friends. If we buy cheap new clothes it is like drugging my kids with factory chemicals. If we buy good clothes we give them to my niece and nephews when we don't need them.
My opinion on clothes is don't buy many and if you do then give them away when you don't need them.
