Hp= torque*rpm/5552 hotrod dynoed a 455ho rated at 350hp according to the factory actually having closely 450hp at 6k and 570 ftlbs from 3k naturally aspirated through a carb fired by a distributor and all steel block and head... Throw on a supercharger or turbo with appropriate mods for that 7-8-900 hp... Before 5552 rpm it's all torque 500hp at 55,520 rpm would only be 50hp at 5552 rpm assuming a perfect linear world... If one dumpt 20k into say a ls1 Camaro with the sole purpose of hellcat fast they'd probably find themselves with money left for slicks and roll cages or more pwr brought to you by NOS
