Knowledege you know is power, here is my geology field research at Ondo State, I will also be sharing my geology field work report we also went to at EDO State which lasted for 10days, Ondo State was the first place we arrive at for our field research and here is my observation.
Before I share my field report I will like you to understand what geology is about referring to picture above.
Geology is the scientific study of earth’s processes and materials. It is an aspect of science that study’s solid earth, the rocks of which it is composed, and the processes by which they change. Also gives insight into the history of the earth and it sub-surface.
What is Rock
Rock is an aggregate of minerals
*What is Minerals *
A mineral is a natural occurring inorganic crystalline solid solid with is own characteristic, (definite) but not generally fixed chemical proporsiton and a set of distinguishable physical properties.
Introduction to Field Geology involves the description and identification of rocks; it is an avenue to buttress the theoretical class work with practical.

DESCRIPTION OF ROCK
Rock Type and Reason for the Name: Rock is a crystalline, rock that has foliation and showing random arrangement of ministerial.

NEW WORDS
Migmatite: it is a high grade metamorphic road that is form as a result of partial melting of a rock.
Anatexis: The process of partial melting of a rock
Paleosome: The Oldest Part of Migmatite.

DESCRIPTION OF ROCK
Non Crystalline rock, showing stratification and has beddings planes, rock has joints and cross join, contains traces of plant rock. This rock lays uncomfortably on the rock in location on.
Mineralogy of the Rock: Reddish Browncolour which means cementing material is iron.
Sorting: Poorly

LOCATION TWO, STOP TWO
ORIN-OHIN SPRING, ONDO STATE
ARRIVAL TIME: 03:03PM
GPS COORDINATE: N060 57’ 55.8” E005 44’ 37.6”
WEATHER CONDITION: SUNNY
DESCRIPTION
When water percolates through and get to the basement rock where there is no longer a means of escape the water looks for another way to escape by moving latterly, and when it eventually finds a way it flows out through the space.
This simply means a sedimentary rock is a porous rock.
