Today i was walking in the city center of Lviv city and accidentally stumbled upon a group of tourists. While I was waiting for my friend, I heard a story of the guide about the titans that are holding Lviv. I live here for about 10 years yet and often walked through this street but never paid attention to these sculptures.
Cemented Titans observe the movement of the city from the height of the portals and balconies.
It seems like they hold the house on their mighty shoulders, although in this case it is only a beautiful facade decoration.
As it turned out later, such statues in the center of Lviv are 12!! 😨😨 They are symmetrically placed in pairs.
I decided to make a little quest with my friend in few days (cos this weekend we have religious holidays) and to find other 11 statues. I guess it will be a very cool post soon:)))) Can't wait to share with you yet!

Oh I can't wait to see the other statues and these are so amazing. I love the colour of this building and the ars nouveau window as well. I am following now too, so I won't miss the other statues when you post them!
