@exyle certainly has his finger on the pulse of the Steem blockchain. But in a recent vlog he said something to the effect that he thought there was maybe another 6 months of being able to earn Steem by posting. I’m scratching my head about that. Unless there’s a major change with a HF between now and then, authors will still be getting 32.5% of Steem’s inflation. Yes, it will likely become harder to earn Steem, but somebody has to earn it.

That is an interesting statistic. It would be awesome if the bigger accounts spread the curation love out a little more. That is something that was promised with HF 21/22 that I don't think has really happened yet. I think sadly they are just going to keep voting the same accounts they always do that give them the best return for their vote.
