How to overcome sadness
The sadness is usually a determining factor for the development and personal development of each individual, since this feeling can affect our ways of thinking, the perspectives of things, motivation, self-esteem, among other personal factors that are responsible of that malaise that torments us and that makes us feel submerged in melancholy.
While it is true, this feeling may be focused on various situations or circumstances that we may be experiencing at a certain time in our lives, but we must keep clear that we are the ones in charge of assigning meaning to that circumstance or situation based on everything we have lived, done or felt. Our society has conditioned us to focus squarely on those results that, although they did not turn out as we wanted or as society thought they could be, begin to place the great label of failure, loss, negativity, when we can focus those results in another way to to improve as people and constantly improve ourselves.
Negative feelings are not really the result of things that do not happen, but the way we think about things that happen to us. When we learn to differentiate these perspectives, we manage to reduce our feelings of sadness seriously and if you think that this is not possible, I will give you a good example.
A person may feel sad because he or she lost a loved one, while another person appreciates and celebrates their life instead of focusing on what they are losing.
A person may feel sad because they ended a relationship ... while another person feels free because of these things.
Negative feelings are largely an egoistic aspect of ourselves and our egos, as they have to do with what WE are losing, not with anyone else. But when we realize that we can change what we feel, changing what we think, our life and circumstances also change.</div>
We have to be aware of what we feed our brain, since this is a critical and determining point where many people make the mistake that when we are sad or melancholy we begin to reinforce that feeling through actions such as: memories, photos, movies, videos or music that immerse us much more in this feeling and that also places us in a never ending vicious circle.
It's funny, but in our lives we do not get happiness for the success we have, but the other way around. We achieve success based on our level of excitement and enthusiasm. It does not have much science ... if you are sad, you do not achieve success, but if you are happy, your chances and opportunities increase exponentially. This is the importance of not living submerged in sadness.
I agree with this. There is a strong association between happiness and success. You can achieve success when you are enthusiastic, and that is possible when you are happy. In a state of depression/ sadness, we do not have feelings like enthusiasm, excitement, and so our productivity decreases.
