RE: That day I got my ass kicked during Steem Fest

That is one serious wound! I guess your tooth must have punctured all the way through.

Massive respect for soldering on the next few days.

Interesting to hear in the comments about people 'not feeling welcome' in Poland... the only time I felt that was when a barmaid gave me a dirty look when I asked her if she spoke English (she was INSANELY attractive, even by Polish standards and that's saying something, and spoke PERFECT english, anyway, I'm getting lost in the memory of how gorgeous she was).

Besides that I felt the city was very welcoming!

However, that might just be because of white British privilege. As a general rule, I've found that white racists tend to quite like, even identify with the British: I mean look at our history, we've done 'racism' pretty well for a good chunk of it, and then probably even more so since Brexit, which (probably unsurprisingly) is something i don't identify with.

Of course it's only a handful of Poles that are racist, however Poland's probably now about 1% more Racist given that 800K of the more cosmopolitan Poles have moved to the UK!

Hope it doesn't scar too badly. I hardly noticed it during steemfest, I guess that's something!
