Hha, cool question! I seem to think that as people we have become so materialistic, and dreams, quite frankly have no tangible value!
Secondly, we have become so spoon fed, that anything we have to do ourselves has become to much of a damper.

Name one tangible thing that did not start as a dream in someone. Even owning those things start with a dream.
@markrmorrisjr - You and I get it! But, sadly few do! Evidence seems to suggest that the 95% unsuccessful persons out there don't. Even your challenge seems to suggest that people give up on their most prized dreams, because they dream in the realm of instant gratification.
