This street gobbles sunsets
Like I do
Time spent with you
Is an ocean
Of vanilla light
Those bad witches brew
Taking good things
From us contorting
Curses on strings
Yet time with you
Makes me a beggar
If you’d spare your gaze
Quenching thirst like water
In search for the thing
To end our ending
My desire sinks into
The consequence
And I’d rather be
With you now more
Than anything
