I feel like the whales/big steem holders are seeing this bear market and are being more active now and that goes for all crypto.
This bear market might want needed for big business to get in to crypto and make a lot of money. We are still new and new business can get in and make their market in the crypto world.
I was saying in the beginning of the year and even last year that next year is going to be the end of bull market and that the battle of chains are starting. Many of the poor chains are falling to the death. Bitcoin has taken advantage of this bear market and is now better than ever before and is gaining power that many altcoins said it did not happen. Many altcoins betting that bitcoin would still be old are falling. You can't just be Bitcoin. Try to be something else and then try to beat bitcoin. That is why I like Steem so much it not trying to be Bitcoin. I can count more than than 40 coins in CMC that are just copycats.
