In a small fishing village, Korea

in #busy6 years ago

We had a rest in an unknown area in the coastal area where we were surveying.
In the morning, as getting up, I was walking along the coast of that small fishing village.
I could see people hardly in the village. They must’ve been fishing somewhere else in the sea.

The first thing attracted my attention was a wrecking household.
It was so interesting for me to photography that ruining household.
I photographed some shots on the old house.

There was an old chair on the field. That chair was useless. But why they put it on the field.
The mood of the chair was interesting. That old chair reminded me of the old people of the agricultural society in the current information society.

As passing through the old house, there were a mud area and the ships.

How do you feel like on those small ships ?

There were some poles in the sea, so I asked a fisherman what those poles were.
He answered those poles were some instrument for cultivating seaweeds.
Anyway those poles gave me some image of loneliness.

This village was a calm place to walk around and to think something in quiet alone.
Sometimes having a boring time is very recommended.

We used to visit our grand parent's village in childhood. The whole environment was free from pollution and full with greenery.

it’s always amazing to see places like this, from a whole different side.. great photography! cheers

Beautiful places where you live with a few things but useful ..

so many hidden stories..

Ahh the West Sea, such a tranquil place. The differences in the tides are almost as remarkable as the clam barbeques. Loved visiting the little islands around there

Hahaha

Beautiful photos, have a touch of humility and tranquility that place .., I really liked the different places you managed to catch .. @slowwalker greetings from Venezuela

@slowwalker, Today you recovered nicely Korean desolate fishing village. Absolutely their life very simply and low passion indeed. They spend life with happiness and feel beauty environment. But their life's inside harder.
You took beautiful photography of people's small houses and fishing boats and there landscaping view. Completely beautiful blog sharing.

It's a very interesting area, sad to see the state of the boats out of the water. Thanks for sharing such a far off land to the rest of us.

very well captured all aspect of that small village !

The work that was put in during times long past are very haunting indeed. Picturing the mud being packed on those walls of the stakes so carefully placed in the water for their meaningful purpose is heavy. Then you watch the beached boat that was no doubt someone's dream come true.

Time passes so incessantly and pictures make it seem like it was yesterday.

Nice shots!

very simple place, with enough income will be of concern to you,@slowwalker,🙂

Beautiful post

Really nice pictures. Its wonderful to see new places .I like to quote the words of Theodore Finch "we have to be willing to go where the roads takes us".

Have good time dear friend

It is such a different life in places like that. and here we are in our computers complaining about how slow are internet is when there is so many other different lifestyles out there!

Nice inspiration again from you @slowwalker

@taufiksagoe

Beautiful place
The building is partly cermented and the rest is made witj mud and thatch....beautiful home. As for the instruments amidst the river, i love the innovation

good post. keep it up!

The pictures are captivating with serenity of the atmosphere which reminds me the feeling of being in my village before rapid modernization.

Hi i know this place there is not enormous place so i live in busan since ten years

I like the simplicity of your writing

It is a place with a very quiet environment, it would be a very good place to meditate and think about our life, where we are and where we want to be in a not too distant time.

The abandoned house has mud walls that reminded me of the village where my father was born, there the houses were completely made of clay and the roofs were made of straw and palm, even today there are still houses in that style in that small village of my country.

A gree,very good post

Nice post, but i want to ask, what the wall made from?

Who does not like to see the natural scene. Everyone wants to visit the beautiful places of the world. We have become mechanical to see ourselves the buildings of the brick-cement-stone buildings around us. Difficulty in nesting the house. So maybe our mechanical city, where there is a lot of opportunities, as well as our sightseeing. Because we are naturally comfortable. Now we do not go to enjoy the wonderful landscapes at any place of trouble, where we have to face many problems. And that is why we go beyond our sights, some of the wonderful places in the world.

Well the village does sure looks like a peace place to be and the environment as well feels like that as well !

Interesting photos .... I never heard of pools to cultivate seaweed. That building looks like its ready to topple over at any minute.

@slowwalker this part of Korea looks to be 'forgotten' if you know what i mean.

very interesting how they hae build this house!

by the way - do you live in Korea, or were just visiting ? :)

Such a town is what is needed to clear the mind and reflect. I love photos

This post is the one that I liked the most today. The images captured transmit serenity and peace and a beauty that goes beyond material beauty. Congratulations @slowwalker. Thanks for sharing.
