Fast & Furious
This was probably one of the most confusing movie titles at the time since the original movie was named The Fast and the Furious. Good thing that they just stick to numbers now so none of us get confused. For those of you that are still confused, I am bringing about discussion of the movie Fast and Furious 4. I'd like to start off by saying that the first three Fast films were some of my favorite of all time, but this is the one where I felt the series started to turn away from the reason I fell in love with it.
This was the movie that made me really feel that it was turning away from the classic street racing vibe that made me love it in the first place. It still feels really grounded now compared to the newer movies, but still it was where it started. All my opinion of course, but that's why I call these "let's talks" since I want to hear what you all think.
The parts that I did enjoy were anything to do with cars as usual! The first race through the city where Dom screws over Brian at the end was easily my favorite part of the movie. They won me over pretty easily once Brian brought back the Skyline. That was such an iconic car in the 2nd movie that it was so cool to see him driving it again. I'm always a fan of any import cars though so that was an easy given.
The next smaller exciting part of the movie for me was the fact that Brian's car that he gets after the Skyline that he uses through the rest of the movie is a Subaru WRX. I don't think any of the previous Fast movies mess around with Subaru cars so it was cool to finally see him driving one. Even if I am mistaken and Subarus have been used as primary cars in previous movies, it still is always cool to see them again. Seeing that Subaru swerve in the underground tunnels between the Mexican and United States border was so cool to see!
Of course just like any Fast movie, there were some love interests that didn't really seem to go anywhere. I didn't have a problem with it at all since I just watch these movies for the cars, don't really even care for the shooting scenes that much. These movies always know how to end well though too...with Dom getting his prison sentence and it seeming over for him. We see him on a bus to prison and then suddenly the whole gang appears...including Brian! Also like to point out that Brian is actually driving a muscle car and not the Honda NSX import...surprising!
What did you all think of Fast 4, if you've seen it?
very-very good picture ok I've vote.jangan forgot vote back
Yeah this movie is interesting and i have seen two time
Good luck
To me, this was probably the final movie which I really liked. I'm not sure why, but maybe it was because the fourth movie was the last one which mainly took place in the US. Tokyo Drift is hard to compare to the others, as it didn't really have much of a connection to the previous movies at the time, but I really liked it and watched it countless times.
