Being an islander you get creative. Doing more with less.
I always get these nice smelling candles in a glass. When they are all burned up they end up in the trash. But not at my house. It is such a waste to throw them out so I use them again and get a new life as lemonade or wine glas. They are very stable on the table with our breeze from the east.
From our "stupidstore" I got these awesome glass marbles.
And I got an idea. I took some glue and glued the marbles to the glass. I love candle light and candles are all over the place in my house. It saves on my electric bill too and candles are always standby in case of blackouts.
And look at this pretty result after I glued the marbles to the glass.
No need for further instruction.
I am still thinking about making a lampshade from coral, an idea like this can be in my mind for a while figuring out how to do it to get the special effect I want and when I finally get to it the picture in my mind is complete and I know exactly what I have to do. At this moment the picture is clear I just have to collect the coral.
I do enjoy reading your island life posts stranded, I bet you have an interesting story to tell!
Thanks @kalimbakey. And yes interesting, it totally changed me as a person.
