@dlike Token Extravaganza: Double Payout For Comments

This is getting to be a daily occurrence but I think it is a good thing.

@dlike posted some updates which are very exciting. To start, they are working on their Android version of the application which is in beta and available for download. The link is in their article which is linked below.

This is a nice step forward and, after testing the application a few times on behalf of someone else, it looks to be pretty robust. All Android users should give it a try and provide them with your feedback.

Another thing that really caught my attention in the post was the payout for activity on their site (dlike.io). Anyone who follows me knows I am a huge fan of comments. This is a great way to get to know others, by interacting with them. In my view, it is one of the main ways to achieve success on the Steem blockchain.

@dlike takes this one step further. Not only does the application pay out tokens for posts, they also do the same for comments. Hence, people are getting tokens for commenting.

The system was paying out 25 dlike for a comment and 20 per post. This is all part of their airdrop campaign of 5M tokens. Now, they upped the payouts, making them even more attractive. The present rewards are 45 dlikes per post and 50 dlikes per comment. This is a nice kick which can help to grow anyone's account much faster.

Another thing they did is the payout on delegation is continually increasing. I have 1,000 SP delegated to them which was suppose to be on a 1 for 1 basis. That would amount to 7K dlike per week.

Last week I received 15K dlike for my delegation and that amount was upped to 17K this week. This means they are paying almost 2.5 times in dlike what they were initially offering for delegation. The delegation also earns some STEEM.

Finally, they run contests each week in an effort to get the tokens out in more hands. Their goal is for smaller accounts to be able to grow their stake. This is a wonderful idea in my opinion and a way to reward the general user.

Here is their full write up.

I often stress how important it is for newer accounts to head to the DApps as a means of growing their holdings on the Steem blockchain. When the SMT protocol is released, one of the main features is that it will be paired with STEEM. This provides each coin on this blockchain with instant liquidity. Also, it sets a price or a way to compare the value of each.

At this point, it is obviously a guessing game. However, @vimukthi wrote an excellent post about this application and compared it to other choices with one's SP delegation.

In looking at leasing STEEM as a means of deriving a passive income, the numbers were compared. Ultimately, the breakdown came down to this:

Will Dlike Token end up being worth more than 0.0001923077 STEEM?

https://busy.org/@vimukthi/investment-alert-delegate-when-there-is-blood-on-the-street-or-doing-the-math-on-dlike-tokens

Using those numbers, the question is will it be worth, is USD $.00015134 based upon a present STEEM price of $.787?

As was noted in @vimukthi's post, even a 100 SP delegation can add up quickly. Couple this with a few comments a day on their site along with a post or two and you can see how the dlikes can really grow.

In my view, this approach provides a number of benefits. To start, the site needs activity and @dlike is paying for said activity. It is being offered for every Steemian to take advantage of. Secondly, this is filling up the accounts of people who normally would not be able to amass a ton of SP. However, with this approach, a few hundred thousand token over the next few months could be eligible to garner a fair number of STEEM if one desires that path.

This is something that most Steemians should consider taking advantage of.

Just another benefit to being on the Steem blockchain.

Just like you, I really like @dlike and I've noticed that my weekly delegation payouts have also been going up... Almost double of the first payout.

Important to mention that, I completely agree with you when you say that commenting is key to succeed in this "world".
