We are seeing a paradigm shift and those who are into synchronicity understand that there is meaning to all that happens.
This week we saw the Notre Dame in Paris catch on fire. On the surface, it looks like a tragedy of an old structure. Notre Dame is a historic monument and, thus far, a billion dollars poured in from around the world to rebuild it.
Paris is also ground zero for the conflict between the will of the people and government. The Yellow Vest protests garnered worldwide attention.
Both these situation so a bit of the old and some of the new.
Notre Dame is part of the richest, most powerful organization on the planet. It is also one of the most corrupt ever seen. The Catholic Church is far from the paradigm of virtue. Instead, it is a history wrought with murder, fear, pedophilia, and theft. For the last two thousand years, it had control over a large section of the population. It also is a major epicenter for conditioned thought and mind control.
The Catholic Church is the epitome of the religions of the world. Many pursue the same tactics. The end goal is the same.
We are seeing many who are turning away from some of this. People are really starting to question what is taking place in the world around them. Part of the process that we are undergoing is a clearing out of the old. Notre Dame is a symbol of this.
Abundance starts in the minds of people. It is true we live in an economic system that was developed around scarcity. This is changing for those who are aware. A lot of what was present today will not be a part of life in a couple decades. Cryptocurrency, for one, is offering something new.
The Age of Abundance is something that is happening on many different levels. The monetary system is just one of the layers. In fact, I believe it is a result of something deeper that is taking place.
There is a tug-o-war taking place. The Yellow Vests also epitomize this. Governments feel they can keep taking without limit. These protests show how there is going to be a line that will not be crossed. Once again, we see technology offering up a possible alternative.
One of the hardest things to chance is the minds of people. We all have a tendency to embrace what we are taught and defend it. Shifting our beliefs is one of the hardest changes to make. Something that was taught from a very young age is imprinted upon our minds fully. Often, we do not even question what we learned. Instead, we absorbed it all like sponges.
To me, it starts with the question do you see the abundance that is starting to emerge or not? Many will not be able to see it even after reading these words. Some who are into cryptocurrency still question the idea of financial abundance. They obviously ignore what happens when the Internet comes to an industry.
Let us take a look at what we have:
Music? Abundance
Video? Abundance
Communication? Abundance
Information? Abundance
Data? Abundance
Notice how all these industries saw abundance after the Internet found them.
Of course, it is easy to look at in hindsight. After 20 years, the fact that there is a wealth of information available to us is pretty obvious. The same was not true a couple decades ago. It also carries for the other ones I mentioned.
We still see billions holding onto mindsets they were reared with. Often, widespread change only takes place after a generation dies, taking their views with them. Hopefully we are seeing the ability to question and being open to new ideas emerging.
The younger generations grew up with change being a constant. Things that are standard in the lives of those older are more fluid to them. This is a mindset that many of us older ones have difficulty grasping. The Millennials certainly are far different in their view of the world than any of the rest of us had at that age.
Part of the reason for their views is the fact they saw a lot of financial uncertainty in their lives. They witnessed their parents going through the housing collapse that set off a global financial crisis. Their student loan debt is reaching record levels. In short, the scarcity economy hit them the hardest. Being on the bottom rung means they did not get the chance to move forward.
I believe cryptocurrency is going to offer them an alternative. The existing structures of the world are going to be cleared out, just like Notre Dame. Sure, there might be some rebuilding and people who try to hold onto the old. In some instances, this might even be successful.
It is impossible to predict how the world will look in a decade or so. As we move forward, there are going to be major shifts in everyday industries. What are we going to add to the list that I posted above? How many industries will be upended due to technologies that are just coming into being now?
A team working with quantum computing are able to see 16 different outcomes at the same time.

If this is expanded over the next decade, we are going to see things operating on a completely different level.
I would say anyone armed with this ability will see decisions work out at a much higher percentage of the time.
It is going to be interesting.

Now we have the French taxpayers asking why their taxes ate being pledged to help rebuild a cathedral belonging to the richest church, and so they should. We are in an age where more and more are starting to question the status quo and I hope this continues. The Y and Z generations are in a world of turmoil which is still teaching that if you go to school and get your qualifications, jump through all the hoops, you'll be successful. Except that's not true any more and they know it and wonder why this is being forced upon them. And forced upon them it is as more and more countries make it harder to choose any other educational paths.
Our suicide rate amongst youngsters is increasing as is the apathy rate and rates of drug abuse. They know something isn't right, but they're not sure what it is. They're being told everything is fine and it's them that have something wrong or are doing something wrong.

The Catholic Church doesn't own the churches in France, the state does. If the French government decides to seize all the churches in France it can do so (it doesn't even have to do that, since it owns them).
Hmm, I guess things aren't always what you think. In that case, maybe they should have left ownership to the church for them to shoulder the costs themselves. 😉

Yup it really makes you wonder huh. Like I said in my post peoples priorities are F***ed up
Great post, I think you are right this is a symbolic turning point, most don't realise that this is something like the1016th church to have been attacked in Europe in the last few years, mainly because it has not been reported on in main stream media, with 3 churches on average being attacked a day in France alone.
Your message of positivity and seeing this as the death throws of an old paradigm of scarcity moving to a new one of abundance and transparency is a message I hope the world will embrace.
There certainly is a lot of activity taking place in France of varying degrees.
I do not know if it is some type of epicenter for the shift or what it is but France is making a lot of headlines.
Yes, I think the French have the revolutionary spirit, I loved it when they tried to introduce car clamping and on mass they all put super glue in the clamps, or when they introduced a smoking ban, the next day they were smoking more than ever in the places they were told they couldn't smoke in, maybe it stems from the French revolution ?
Thanks .. I upvoted and resteemed and followed ... ❤️❤️❤️🍸 cheers

There's a critical level of inequality between the rich and the poor in Paris. Seen that myself about ten years back when I went through Europe. Paris is worse than anywhere else I've been for it. Noticed the rampant racism there is main problem or was ten years ago. Not the visible minority type that we're used to here either but the type where they know what part of Europe who came from and flat out demand to know "what are you". "What's your nationality" is a personal favorite, those are fighting words.
The cathedral itself is a key historical monument that makes France what it is and draws tourism. To rebuild it is vital. Probably should've kept it up a bit better than they did in the first place or ensure it had fire response at the ready, but that can't be changed now. It has to be rebuild one way or another. Obvious there are those who want to see their names on the plaque at the front who get their donations in first. There's no plaque on the slums in the North end so there's really no good reason to donate there, right.
My wife @laputis and I were scheduled to perform organ recitals at Notre Dame this year and the next year. It will be a while before we can play there again...
