A Royal Navy ship was mobilized to follow a Russian warship sailing near the British territorial waters on Christmas day.
This was announced by the UK Ministry of Defense. According to the British media reports, HMS St Albans followed the frigate Admiral Gorshkov in the North Sea. The British Navy has recently recorded an increase in Russian units sailing through British waters. The Albans sailed last December 23 and remained at sea yesterday to check the movements of the Russian frigate "in waters of national interest", reports the Ministry of Defense.
"I will not hesitate to defend our waters or tolerate any form of aggression," said Minister Gavin Williamson. "Britain will never be intimidated when it comes to protecting our country, our people and our interests".
We should live in peace, no war.
