I've had an idea on my mind for weeks now.
Something that I want to do that would bring a lot of value to the people within my circle of influence and to me too.

But there is this voice in my head telling me that I can't do it. That is why I have written this "note" below to myself.

Then I would have failed valiantly

You won't fail, you can't fail. This poem made me remember a popular quote by Theodore Roosevelt

In life, two things are involve.. Either you fall or you grow... They both help and serve their purpose. If you fall, it will be the time to test the reliability of your so called true friends.

It is better to live your life like there is a God and find out there is none than to live your life like there is no God and later found out there is. My point: it is better to try and fail than not to try at all.

The hand that make mistake/fall belong to those that works.

Even if you fall, standup and continue.

@tojukaka, In a man's life they is two voices;the voice of love(GOD) and the voice of fear(evil), that voice wispering 'what if I fail' is the voice of discouragement, fear and evil, all you need is to ask yourself; this thing I want to do, will it add value to life?

If the answer is YES, go ahead and do it, but if you fail, just know that failure is a success in progress, restrategise your plan and target, rewiew what you didn't do well and give it a big shot again and you will hit your target.

AT TIMES WITHOUT FAILING, YOU CAN'T RECORD ANY SUCCESS BECAUSE FAILURE OPENS DOOR TO LEARNING AND A RETHINK.

The end result may not be what you expected but it is never failure if you gained any experience and learned from it. Sometimes an entirely new and different thing would emerge because you tired.

There is no short cut to success, failure are signs that something is missing in the puzzle to make it complete and you have to keep trying to you get it right. Michael Faraday failed many times when trying to produce electricity but he never gave up until he succeeded which we enjoy till this day.
Go right on and try it, it might be the next big thing when you succeed.

While I was writing my recent post this morning. Mohammed Ali was the theme. One thing I noticed in him is that he was very proud but his confidence in what he can do outweighed any form of fear or doubt.

Below are some of his notable words.

"I know where I'm going and I know the truth, and I don't have to be what you want me to be. I'm free to be what I want."

"I done wrestled with an alligator, I done tussled with a whale; handcuffed lightning, thrown thunder in jail; only last week, I murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalised a brick; I'm so mean I make medicine sick."

"It's lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges, and I believed in myself."

He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.

One I learnt from Ali is that failure cannot overtake you once the determination to succeed is strong.
