Every social media has principles and obligations which the users are expected to carry out in other to ensure the continuity of that media.
Steemit users also have some basic duty and obligation to carry out in other to ensure the continuity of this media. Below are 5 basic duties you and me are expected to carry out.
- post meaningful content or articles.
2)Do not copy other people's post or articles as this can be seen as plagiarism
3)upvote and comment on others post because if you do so you will get upvotes in return. Don't just view people post without upvoting.
4)follow others on steemit and don't forget to appreciate their work.
5)Avoid cheetah eye by not copying and pasting things you see on the Internet as this can lead to your downfall
Those are the duties and obligations all steemit users are expected to carry out. Now ask yourself "I'm I carrying out these duties?"
I have to disagree with one point. I don't see the point in upvoting content that I don't care for or find interesting. It should seem obvious, but so many people have begged me to upvote content that I don't care about. Likewise, I'm not going to ask people to upvote my content if they don't care about it.
