I wonder how that works with the visa. You only need to leave the country or also have to go back to the States?
I think the worst thing you can do is compare prices with your home country. You do not live their any longer so you need to know the prices of your new home country by head. I do similar like you. I wait and wait... I save bits and if its on sale I store for "the winter".
A good thing of waiting is also you find out you do not need it at all or... if you ask around... you can get it for free :)
Happy day with 💖

I just have to leave the country for a few days and go anywhere. This is why I went to Singapore and will do so again.
You are right about not comparing, but I still change the money into US in my head! Old habits die hard :)
We do not need much anyway. Better to save up for a rainy day lol.
The older I get the less I need.
You know what? I still change Euro into gulden (dutch florin), but abroad I will not compare with what it will cost me at home. Although more frequently shopping in Germany would help

Haha! I go from steem to Thai Baht to usd to Malaysian Ringit in my head, and sometimes singapore dollar. There is NO REASON I need the USD in there.
The older I get the less I need.
