Dear Steemit Friends :
Simple living is the happiest thing, yes, happiness is not always measured by matter like how rich or poor a person is. because even if life looks simple and not complicated, but that does not mean his life aja mediocre. just look at people who are simple but always happy and smiling and always feel prosperous, why so, one of them is they can enjoy life and always be grateful.
Try to compare with people who have a life that looks perfect, have a lot of money, rich, have everything fancy and so on. However, not necessarily the person feels happiness and pleasure. whether we know his real life, his life may be the saddest. most lonely and so on.
Sometimes life is difficult because we make it complicated, following lifestyles for renewal, prestige and cool looks in other people's eyes, not even lifestyle we need or can not follow, but still stubborn to make it happen.
Successful greetings of Steemit friends.

This is so true. Thank you for the reminder. I often find myself chasing after money or a certain lifestyle, and all that chase brings me is anxiety and a feeling of inadequacy. I am trying to go back to my roots (I am Native American - Peoria Tribe) as my family is heavily involved with tribal activities and the Native American way of life (traditional, not so much how life is on the reservations) really resonates with me. I'm learning to let go of things that just add clutter to my life - one of the best decisions I've made in recent months is deleting my facebook account. I am a heavy Reddit user as well and I am finding myself being drawn more and more to steemit's culture. It's posts like these that help me discover my true self and it's just so refreshing to be a part of a community that shares my sensibilities.
Thanks for posting and best of luck on Steemit! I'm going to be blogging some of my misadventures from my past myself, if that's something that interests you, check it out! <3
