B&W Photo Contest ~ Sunset/Sunrise (Entry 1 – West End of Oak Island)

Here is my first entry for the @daveks #bwphotocontest which is sponsored by @papa-pepper.

This is sunset at the far west end of Oak Island, North Carolina which is a barrier island separated from the North Carolina mainland by the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. The water you see is where the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean converge.

Nicely shot, with the sun right behind the bar :D!

Thanks!!! That wooden pole used to be on the beach and never got wet, but recent hurricanes have reclaimed a lot of the beach out on the West End of Oak Island and now that pole is in the ocean during high tide.
