I took this when I had use of an MP-E 65mm lens. As a first attempt with this awesome lens it was not too bad a result. Unfortunately all I had access to at the time was a some what dead fly.

Wow! Fantastic macro! How many images in the stack?
Thanks. There were 62 images stacked.
Well that's fantastic. Those MPE-65 lenses seem to be pretty beast, I've never played with one but I've considered buying one. Steem will have to do a bit better for me first :)
Definitely following you if this is the type of stuff you do! I love super close macros.
Its a great lens but has a very shallow depth of field. Great for image stacking.
Thanks.
the MP-E 65mm lens is one of a kind indeed i'm still thinking of getting the venus LAOWA 60mm f/2.8 Ultra-Macro Lens, manual focus and x2 magnifications
Yes its a great lens. More suitable for studio shots than out in the field. Would love to get my hands on one again some time. I'm not familiar with the LAOWA lens. Will have to look it up.
nice macro portrait :-)

Still life. Well it was definately still. Not sure about the life. ☺ Seriously though, thanks for the compliment.
