I tried the ByteBall Steemit Airdrop. It works!

So I tried the ByteBall Airdrop for Steemian based on this post:

The wallet downloaded and installed nicely and has quite a lot of interesting features.
I've had a quick look at the webpage which is good and the github with has lots of activity and new releases with new features.

Definitely worth trying if you've got a decent Steem Reputation.

The attestation rewards are as follows (they've dropped the lower thresholds recently:

Ah just FYI the donation part is no longer relevant, the referral is entirely based on the tracker url, see e.g. https://steemit.com/byteball/@punqtured/referral-links-are-king

But yes this drop was a cool initiative and I definitely think it serves its purpose of exposure.

The referral is entirely based on the tracker but you still need to make the 600,000 byte transfer to acredit the new person. I think.

Last time I did it, it didn't have the option to transfer, it only was a sign process. Hmm...
