I guess in the end you can be surprisingly a winner. In case it turns out that you get a few USD per referral and you could have a few as popular Steemonian. But more likely you end up with practically nothing.

I did already receive the $80 onto my wallet, no ref rewards yet though but I think Steemians are delaying the bot with their activity.
Byteball is known for doing big airdrops, it has done some in the past for BTC and I believe it will airdrop 99% of its supply - so that's where the money is coming from.
I'm not sure yet, haven't received one yet so far. :D I think I read something about 25% but not sure.

I assume the wallet. How do you know you only downloaded a wallet? And no viruses or Trojan horse?

I don't understand. I mean am airdrop itself does not create any money. Otherwise everyone would airdrop all day long.
If you cash that $80 them there must be someone else that paid $80.
