In Samut Songkhram, about an hour's drive from Bangkok, is Maeklong Railway Market, one of the largest produce and seafood markets in Thailand. There are eight trains passing through the market every day and the food stalls are located right on both sides of the train tracks. Every time a train arrives, the railway station will issue a siren warning.
