I just tried using the 'SEND" to send some Byteball to my Steemit username.
Result: History shown already moved to my steem account 30 mins ago, but I don't know where it went. I thought it will directly go to my Steemit wallet, apparently not. I must have done it wrong.
Any help on this @punqtured? Thanks!
No, it is just an alias for your Byteball address, so sending it to that alias will go to your Byteball account, There is currently no system that would automatically convert GBYTE to STEEM, you would need to use Bittrex or UPbit exchanges for that.
Ah... thanks so much @tarmo888 for explaining that to a silly me...!!
Not too silly :P It cost you pretty much nothing and you learned a new thing.
If you send funds inside of your own wallet then history shows "moved", other transactions are called "sent" or "received".
That's true, I should say I'm lucky instead, so it basically still in the same place... phew!
Plus I am thankful that you care to explain to me, so I'm really blessed... Thank you so much!
You’re welcome!
OMG! Be careful when sending especially with other altcoins you will lose coins if you send to wrong address. Glad Bytes is not like that. I posted a blog with screenshots because my friend did similar mistake she tried sending to BCH gosh 😁
Thanks for sharing your story too @pinay!
You're welcome! Make sure to send bytes to GBYTE only :)
To get GBYTE deposit address at Bittrex just click the green button with arrow down. Read this: https://steemit.com/byteball/@pinay/how-to-cash-out-byteball-bytes-usdgbyte-4ef4d1bfcc68a
