Warning: selling your Bytes may result in loss of opportunities and regrets.
Byteball, unlike STEEM and SBD, is a currency well suited for long term holding.
While STEEM is very useful on the STEEM blockchain, so useful that I consider it a tangible asset, Byteball is useful even outside of its own DAG:

I feel good about having STEEM, and I feel even better about having Byteball.
It also gives me diversification, as ridiculous it is, since my total cryptocurrency worth is below 500$.
Earlier this year I was quite desperate to sell STEEM in order to buy Byteball and now I got it for free.
Will I sell what I wanted because I got it for free?
Frankly, it was extremely expensive for me, since I worked extremely hard to get my full 60 (appears in steemit as such, not just on steemd.com and on busy.org) reputation.
Besides the author's opinion and conclusion and implicit recommendations about Byteball, this thread may be helpful for other usages.
