I was never discouraged when I rolled up to spots when the surf was really big. If it was to big I would just shoot photos, otherwise I would usually surf. It was pretty big this day. I'm glad I stayed on the beach.
It was pretty gnarly. I have never seen so many people pull into barrels. It seemed like every wave barreled.
You could see the sets stacking out the back and roll in.
