I think everyone must be exposed to the concept of affirmations at this point. If you've never heard of this, let me briefly explain.
What are affirmations?
Affirmations are words or statements you make to yourself in response to a situation or feeling. Affirmations can be thought of as positive self-talk. They help us overcome challenges and inspire us to take actions that contribute to our well-being.

I was a shy and awkward kid who was always teased at school for my accented English. And that was the beginning of my feeling of inadequacy. When I was younger, I always judged myself negatively because I compared myself to others.
Back in the present, I recently learned about the power of affirmations. About six months ago, I was browsing YouTube and came across a video on the concept of affirmations. After that, I learned more about affirmations by watching videos and reading articles. I pulled out my notebook and wrote down some positive words I wanted to repeat every day when I woke up and before I went to bed.

Here are some of the affirmations I use regularly.
I am calm and confident. I am strong.
I'm good enough, I'm good enough, I'm good enough
I am strong, I am brave, I am resilient.
By repeating this to myself over and over again, I was able to convince my subconscious mind that whatever good happened was worth it. Made a big difference in my life. I applied for four different jobs and approached every interview with complete honesty and confidence. I was able to secure all four roles. But I didn't choose a company, so that's another topic. Since I started using affirmations regularly, my mindset has changed. At this point, I am very grateful that I no longer doubt myself.
