So my mate was brought up around the bush and his dad taught him a lot of things. One thing being how to control a burn off. This was his property we were staying at. The dogs were lying down watching the fire and my wife and I thought ‘hope he knows what he is doing’. Then a tree trunk caught fire and all he said was ‘whoops’. But luckily it died down quick on the tree. The fire was a story tall and over 4 meters wide. Could feel the heat atleast 30 meters away. Only reason he lit the burn off was because a story was due. And as soon as it started to rain, I never felt so relieved.
Paul McCartney of the Beatles recorded a high pitched whistle at the end of "A Day in the Life" for his dog.
