Here in the lovely woods alone with my dog tonight...and who knows what other wild things are here? Hubby spotted a coyote at the trailhead before dropping off some firewood for me.
I look forward to dawn, and a walk up the trail to greet the day. Later on, other campers will arrive to celebrate the last weekend campfires are allowed this year.
This weekend's forecast: it's like a heatwave \ burning in mah heart!
Matt just told me you have a steemit account...nice camping! i just did two nights in the San Gabriels outside of LA
Wahoo! Love camping. Your setup looks awesome. I just got back from a trip myself. Check out my latest post on it :)
Thnks for your thoughtful comment, I will check it out :)
I so wanted to be there. Tired of being sick...
Hope you are feeling better!
I got eaten alive by deer flies and mosquitoes, lol!
What about the noseeums?

Have a great weekend!
Thank you so much! Nothing like a night out in the woods to remind a person that the universe is a huge place with plenty of love for every single one of us. Cheers!
Hi there! Just followed you as i saw the word dog lol! Be careful of the coyotes! :(
They are tricksters, it is wise to not allow them to lure your dog away. Thanks for commenting! I thought I had chosen the pic with my pup in the frame, but i was mistaken. Will try an edit to add it. He is my bestest friend!
Argh, cannot add photos. Oh well, scroll back in my blog if you like, many hiking posts and one Animal Portrait of mine feature Brisket the Dutch Shepherd. Cheers!
I don't know that I am brave enough for a solo trip, but it does seem interesting. I'm sure your dog will make you feel safe and keep loneliness at bay. Have fun! Following you.
This trip is certainly a baby step, right off a paved road just 25 minutes up the mountain from my city:) you are right, though, everything feels safer and more joyous w8th my big brute. Cheers! Thanks for followung. Will check, out your blog when i come off thw mountain xoxo
Sounds good!
