This was a camping trip back in July 2016 (time flies).
This time, we were at Garner Lake Provincial Park. It is northeast of Edmonton, about 2 hours drive. The weather was not bad, a little cloudy sometimes.
In the second morning, we got up at around 6. Campground was really quite. We only heard birds singing, loud and sweet. Then we decided to go hiking. Sunshine filtered through forest in the morning, and the dew gathered on the leaves. Everything was full of vigor.
Actually, I was a bit afraid because there were a lot of signs reminding people about large wild animals in the area, especially bears.
My husband brought bear spray. But I didn't know what I should do. I didn't want to be killed by a bear, but I didn't want to hurt any animals with bear spray either. Fortunately I didn't get a chance to make that difficult decision.
Thanks to the wet weather right before the trip, otherwise we wouldn't be able to see these pretty, cute, fresh, and maybe poisonous mushrooms.
This is a park that I have not been to in Alberta. Thanks for sharing the experience!
Thanx for reading !This is truly beautiful park!
