Life in Canada: Digging Out From Under A Blanket of Snow.

As characters everywhere in Westeros decry “Winter is coming”, in Canada we say, “Winter is here”.

With our second foot of snowfall in less than a week, our city landscape has become magically beautified, unified in white, and all the hard edges replaced by soft billowy shapes.

A short and chilly walk on the way to the store, found me navigating snow drifts where I sunk up to my thighs.

At -19 Celsius (that’s -2.2 Fahrenheit for the Americans on Steemit) my bare hands couldn’t handle taking photos for too long…I just needed my gloves on!

So perhaps I will go out again tomorrow to snap a few more pictures of what living in Canada is like in the winter.
