This autumn I am taking my pet dog and cat abroad.
My biggest concern is the well being of the animals.
I will be getting them used to their travel crates from now on, by providing their meals in them.
I will also be getting them used to sleeping in their crates and will probably take them both for some car rides as well.
Does anyone have experience, good or bad, of international flights with pets?

Dogs’ nose prints are as unique as a human’s finger prints, and can be used to accurately identify them.
Will you take them in the cabin with you for emotional support?

Thanks!
Animals are taken care of pretty well during the flight. Focus on that. If you start looking at stories when things went wrong, you may attract negative energy.
I am assuming they won't be in the cabin with you.
It is probably best to let everyone know you are concerned. When checking in, when boarding, during the flight. It is better to have them check too many times than too less.
Thanks for your advice! I will try to stay calm.
