The waiting really is the worst. Your mind goes about a million places and most of them are not good. Hopefully you are able to move around and keep busy. That helped me. I know some people aren't quite so lucky. Besides the waiting, dealing with the insurance company was the next worst part. Even more so than the cancer. Having to fight with them over coverage you should have is not something I had the energy for. It sounds like they caught it early so that is good. Medicine is amazing these days. I wish you the best in your journey. I chronicled mine here on Hive five or six years ago when I went through it. It was very therapeutic for me and I hope it encouraged people to pay closer attention to their bodies and not be afraid to ask those embarrassing questions when they visit their doctor.
I'll go back and read your journey. So glad you're okay.
Good luck, it was a long time ago, your finger might fall off from all the scrolling! Thank you!
