The recent announcement by Alex Trebek about his cancer hits home, as I lost my brother years ago to this particular Cancer and my wife is a Breast Cancer survivor.
Alex Trebek lives in the legal state of California, and with his recent announcement of Pancreatic #Cancer one has to wonder will he be the first major celebrity or political figure to actively and publicly pursue using #Medical Cannabis in his fight or bow to "Accepted Medical Practices"?
Senator John McCain, an American Original, Dies at Age 81 was the Time headline on August 26, 2018. John McCain and Edward Kennedy Died of the Same Cancer, Exactly 9 Years Apart according to the Time story. The story continues "died of glioblastoma, a severe and incurable form of cancer that occurs in the brain or spinal cord. McCain’s diagnosis in July 2017 immediately drew comparisons to Kennedy’s, in part because of the rapport the two men shared."

In a recent interview Meghan McCain said that medical marijuana might have given her late father, Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain, more days to live, and she expressed anger about the ongoing stigmatization of cannabis on March 6, 2019.

Both Kennedy and McCain lived in States and or locations where Medical #Cannabis was available and in all likely-hood, we will never know if that was an option that either ever considered. Now Mr. Trebek has the same option.
