I must say that I do love my chocolate, even though I am a diabetic. Therefore, I have to know where my sugar numbers are when I splurge. However, while I was in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, I came across a shop called Peace By Chocolate. You can taste the decadence by just walking in and being hit by the alluring aroma. The chocolates did look too beautiful to eat, which is a testament to their candy designing skills.
Containing a variety of fillings, the chocolates in the box above were handpicked from behind a counter, which offered many more varieties of chocolate. After you stare at their beauty for a few minutes and do decide to eat one, you will find that they are so rich in flavor that you can't eat too many in a row. It is definitely a place to visit on the boardwalk in Halifax after you try the ice cream at Cows, which is right on the water!
