Had myself a nice couple hours, trimming some outdoor cannabis, watching the end of the trading day & pre election propaganda on Bloomberg.
Gotta reward yourself with a victory joint
This weed is actually a lot better than I expected. I pulled her early, as soon as I saw the first sign of mold. Doesn’t seem to have spread much if any. No sneezing while trimming & a very smooth smoke already despite being pretty fresh still.
Quite a few of these nice size tops to cure.
I will select out all the best buds to jar in a day or two & then I’m gonna press all the littles into rosin soon.
Plenty of dry sift under these trays to top on bowls or press or cook with....
Here is what she looked like the day I cut her down a few weeks ago, she seemed happy that day. Job well done plant 💚
This is what she looked like July 31st before a big pre flower lollipop & she ended up losing a lot of leaves early on due to lack of food in the soil.
In my experience it doesn’t necessarily help outdoor cannabis up here to feed them a bunch. One thing I see consistently every season is that bigger buds mold up really fast, even when the weather is nice. & not even really big buds, anything bigger than tiny is likely to develop bud rot as soon as October hits. However, if you keep buds tiny, perhaps by limiting light & obsessively topping, you can grow a whole lot of super sweet & amazing smell blue cheese like this 👇
👆 Those buds are really tiny, terrible yield, but no mold & smells better than any healthy indoor from the same pheno. Smells more fruity & less cheese than the indoor. The limited light also turned everything darker faster than the plants that had more light. Which is also interesting.
My other favorite outdoor plant of the year was another tiny bud cross I immaculately created when blueberry headband cbd (aka rasheeed Wallace) knocked up an Ayahuasca Purple pheno (aka pineal Amy)
Sheed bangs Amy & creates a tiny bud yielding plant that smells like grape kool aid! I can’t wait to smoke this plant when she dries. I could eat it fresh it smells so good
That’s it for now, all my outdoor is either cut down or too moldy to care about anymore. Another season in the books, least amount of outdoor work ever (planted them & then watered maybe 5 times). Pretty good results & lots of good observational learning 😊
A few lost plants but plenty of natural sun grown plant medicine for the rainy days ahead!
Thanks For Reading, Hope Your Plants Finished Or Are Finishing Strong!!!
Save the Keif for camping trips... Mix it in with your buds; now it's fortified !! LoL
I could wait for camping trips or just keep smoking it every night at home! Fortification for the home buds
Congratulations to plants and gardener! Good jobs all around.
Outdoor weed has that special happy hi if it stays relatively clean. I’m very pleasantly surprised with the outdoor purple hi, so smooth & relaxing &.... happy 😁
Niiiiiiice!
A local follower of mine just emailed out of the blue, and said he'd like to meet up and give me a few ounces from his back deck. He figures it would be perfect for making some full-spectrum oil. Happy :D
That is a pretty cool guy! BC Outdoor was probably a staple of my early weed smoking days. No dabs back then, but if we had them as hi schoolers it would’ve been trouble, & awesome
You did so well this season! I am certainly not jealous or am I. Man those purple leaves are amazing. Makes me want to open some purple seed strains and plant even though we're not doing another indoor run for a bit...
Amazing job, glad you didn't get hit with mold so much. Here in New England it was BRUTAL...
Cheers,
@massmedicinals
I actually pretty much took the season off & the plants were too resilient to teach me a proper lesson. New England weather must be tough, gotta keep hunting for strains that like it up there & then you probably still need a fair amount of weather luck. Outdoor strains should be what we all focus on. Grows like weeds pretty much for free when the sun is out
Nice work! It's pretty amazing what can happen with a little water and sunlight. What did you feed them?
Just water & sunlight, for reals
Oh shit yeah. I must have read that wrong before then. You got some nice sized buds out of that
Because the plant itself was pretty big, at least 6 feet from base to top & the stem was softball sized. Could’ve Fed for bigger buds but they would’ve molded up in September
Nice man! Good to see some outdoor weed pics :)
Well then here is one more for you!
What a beauty! Bravo!
Thanks, nature did all the work
beautiful! I envy you so so much..
