Star Killer grown by Bull Run Craft Cannabis

in #cannabis7 years ago

Living in the great state of Oregon comes with many benefits, but one of my favorites is the amazing Cannabis Industry being built here. While traveling through legal states and countries, I always like to try all the local flavors. There's a never ending plethora it seems in this state.

With that in mind, I figured I'd share my trials with all of you so you can get a handle of what you'd like to try next. Or if you're visiting a legal state, this may come in handy before you step up to the counter.

First up, I'll be reviewing a recent pickup called Star Killer (Skywalker OG x Rare Dankness #2) grown byBull Run Craft Cannabis. I couldn't resist these purple nugs upon first sight and smell.

Even though the Rare Dankness #2 brings a fruitiness to this killer combo, Skywalker OG's potent jet fuel smell and taste still manage to power-through the hybrid. Personally, I've always been a fan of Skywalker so I was happy to smell and taste it.

Given the lineage of this beautiful strain, potency isn't a problem. This one is definitely great at alieving pain and leaving you relaxed. If you're not a regular smoker, I can see how this one could couch-lock some people. If you're new to cannabis or a veteran, you're going to want to give this one a try.

For a recent hike, I rolled up a "Zen Blend" of Star Killer and Hawaiian. It was the perfect combo to keep things mellow and energetic. I'll be reviewing Hawaiian later on. I had always favored Indicas before moving out to the PNW, now Sativas fill my stash jars just as much.

Well I hope you enjoyed the first installment. I plan on not only reviewing flower, but also extracts, edibles, tinctures, salves, etc.... If there's anything you'd like me to cover, leave it in the comments below. Once I'm in a position to start growing again, I'll be keeping a growing journal as well.

Stay elevated my friends!

Yes it does! You've got yourself a follower. I can't wait to get back to growing again.

Well he’ll yeah bro, thanks!

Awesome post! Do you use vaporizers at all? Looking forward to a growing journal.

Thanks! Yup, I've used an array of vaporizers. Although, I'm looking to add a home unit still. I have a G-Pro that I rarely use, never really been happy with quality. I think a home unit is where the power lies with the vape units. As far as extract pens go, I've tried a few of those as well as cartridges. I can write about those as well if you'd like.

I’ve gone through a arsenal of vaporizers during the last three years and now I own and use two different vaporizers, the Pax2 and the Dynavap Omni Xl. By home unit do you mean a desktop model? The best vaporizer reviewer i’ve found is ‘Sneaky Pete vaporizers’ on YouTube. Extract pens and cartridges seem like the future to me since I live in Finland where we just have highly illegal fresh herb (strong indoor homegrown). Made some extracts myself a few times though.

Good to know those two are the travelers to look into. Yeah, I'm looking for a desktop model. I want to fully appreciate the flavor and potency of the flower. Not to say the handheld units can't do that as well. I tend to be a regular smoker, so the constant recharge just for home use becomes annoying. Thanks for the YouTube suggestion, I'll check him out. Nothing beats some amazing extract. Hopefully you're able to get some soon. It's amazing how our world is set up against such an amazing plant.
