So I wired and tested my COB before hanging it in my tent, where it definitely added some heft. It was also time to transplant the seedlings into the air-pots, where they'll stay till the very end
That's how the COB looks after being plugged into the driver, glued and taped to the light, and connected to a standard IEC wire.
And this is last day in the sun for my three plants, that I won't be able to haul outside anymore due to air-pots' weight! But I really like vegging them in the sun, which makes for much stronger stems and thicker leaves. Some studies even suggest, that it actually promotes higher THC content in flowers.
As you can see they're all growing 4 tops after being fimmed. And it's not so easy to get it right, cause it took me a couple of years. The quickest to bounce back has been Red Diesel. She's been actually very impressive with her vigour. The other ones have been much slower.
Transplanting was done swiftly, and it was a good call, cause they started getting root bound, which is probably one of the reasons for yellowing of the bottom leaves. It was done no-till style, so I dug out the hole in the middle to fit them in, and then covered it back with soil.
2 air-pots are holding 2nd run #highbrix soil, and one is a mix of 3rd and 1st. Usually 3rd and 4th run are the best, cause potassium and nitrogen levels are just right, and most of the calcium carbonate has been broken down.
And here they are back in the tent with more light. Now is the time to kick back, and watch them grow!
