Grow tent.

in #cannabis7 years ago

Our garden is growing out of control. Somewhat neglected but that's kind of the benefits of no-till. We are planning to throw these outside in a staggered fashion still. They are growing great despite the fact that they're still white flies. We don't treat these with anything and really have gone out of her way to not use Captain Jacks dead bug at all. But if we're going to put these in the flower I don't want them around better safe than sorry. I've been talking about it for months and I think I'm finally going to do it I'm going to get some Captain Jack's this week. Captain Jack's is basically an organic form of spinosad A and B which are bacterial microbes that eat bugs from the inside out. This is a medical Garden nothing for sale.

Hello, nice plants! You should definitely try to get most of those white flies before they continue to grow out of control. They are very common and are a invading pest to most gardens. My fiance and I cultivate as well and have experience with pests, like white flies and some of the common pesticides that are used for cannabis gardening. I wound definitely not use Captain Jacks for white fly as i have seen no effect on them. Also, most testing labs test for the ingredients listed on captain jacks because they are not safe for human consumption. I would highly recommend using and product called Safer insectal Soap and for us it is highly effective. They hold two organic certifications and it is safe to use for organic cannabis gardening. With pesticides like the CJ formula, the white flies can build up resistance to the ingredients, but they cannot with soap.

Upvote for the soap as I have seen this used as well for the same problem, organic is always best!

I always like to keep ladybugs around as they always bring good luck to the garden.

Thank you i appreciate that advice! I think i will take it!

Captain Jacks didn't much for me either, but we sold a lot at the hydro shop I used to work at so I guess it works for someone. Safer soap has helped a lot though. Neem oil is another option taht has worked great for me in the past. You have to use a sprayer with neem so it's hard to keep it off the buds, and it will make them taste nasty if it does get on flower. It's advertised as all natural and safe, and people have been using it for a long time, but recently some of my co workers told me that there have been reports claiming it's harmful to humans. I never looked it up myself though

Neem can be cancerous if sprayed on Plants 2 weeks before Harvest and combusted. I'm not a big fan of neem as a foliar spray but neem cake is awesome. I'm liking the safer option. That should keep a lot of my beneficials alive in my soil

Wooow so nice i would like to be Your gardener:D

Good job! Thanks to @dynamicrypto you have planted 0.13 tree to save Abongphen Highland Forest in Cameroon. Help me to plant 1,000,000 trees and share my Steem Power to the others. Very nice looking garden I say, I can only dream about ever growing one of them here in Australia. We are stuck in the dark age, or should I say our government have not quite worked out how to allow and make the most money yet! before allowing.

Thank u! Theres awesome rare strains in Australia like 12 month flowering sativas

Really! that would have to be done under ground as it not allowed in any state in Australia. the government are only just giving licence to grow and with all the rules and regulation it's not happening fast.

Look again near Melbourne medical laws have changed.

Ok, Thank you for letting me know about this, I will look into for sure. Have a nice day.

Beautiful. Check out my page and follow pls. Bless

Excellent post i think you should look into diatomaceous earth. Diatomaceous earth is a powerized rock that is mostly silica, with some clay minerals and some iron oxide. The powder is food grade and it is what i've used in the past to keep bugs off my plants. follow and upvote.

Im not to big of a fan although outdoors is more of a reality...i like the safer though for indoors. I have a ton of benificals i want to protect.
