A friend shared an article with me recently that I thought was pretty cool. It discussed the effects of the non-psychoactive component of cannabis (called cannabidiol or more popularly 'CBD'). This particular article discusses research out of Israel indiating that CBD "strenghtens bones and accelerates the healing of fractures." Here is the article:

Folks, this isn't anything new. Simply enter 'cbd and bone health' into the Google search engine and bam, you are off and running into lots and lots of research. Here is a brief list of articles if interested:

I am not a medical doctor (nor do I pretend to be one on the internet) and so have to admit my advocacy for CBD as a supplement to a person's health regimen is primarily based on the personal experience of myself, my friends and thousands and thousands of years of indigenous cannabis use (but I will save that for another time.)
I personally have shoulder issues and have been prescribed a medical marijuana card in the past. I find the cannabidiol contained within the cannabis plant eases my chronic shoulder pain and helps with the back as well after a long day in the garden.
I personally prefer to smoke cannabis flower, and have tried a few CBD- dominant strains over the years. This past season I grew a few Sour Tsunami plants which ended up doing well. I noticed a very citrus- like smoke with virtually no feeling of being "high" whatsoever. Typically my pain eases and I can simply move on with my day.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading and feel free to share what your favorite CBD strain is in helping you manage your pain. I appreciate all feedback and comments. One Love!
Good to hear that something as natural as CBD is helping a fellow human being :).
Great read, upvoted!
Big thanks. I also forgot to mention someone recently gave me a gallon of CBD- infused water out of Humboldt County, CA. I take a small cup before bed to see if it works. Hard to tell thus far as I don't drink much but always willing to try. Tastes just like water.
