Instead, representatives of the Marijuana Medical Association in Romania, blame the unclear legislation.
It is certain that Romanian patients suffering from a terrible illness such as multiple sclerosis do not have access to this kind of treatment, although its benefits are recognized in several European Union countries & U.S.
People requested more clarifications on this issue from the Ministry of Health, which has confirmed that the use of medicinal marijuana is legal in our country but is subject to a strict control. He did not give us, however, more concrete details.

For the time being, there is no request from an owner for the introduction of a cannabis-based drug into the country. But there is the legal basis for a possible authorization after filing a request and related documentation.
Unfortunately, that's a bad situation created by the bureaucracy and corruption in Romania. I am wondering when we can evolve like the other states.

Puerto Rico is ripe with bureaucracy as well, but they have managed to birth a licensing procedure here for medical cannabis usage. After several months of work I received my license only last week.

No. I’m not saying they should just be happy with that mess, only that you are not alone in your bureaucratic misery and that there’s hope to get your hands on the product legally...eventually if you jump through all their hoop games. Why are they involved in regulating access to a naturally growing plant anyway? It’s all government bullshit, but it’s the world in which we presently live so we have to deal. I feel your pain
