RE: See What I See: Sugar At 40 Weeks

Things are going well. No time to grow myself this year. Just helping other people with theirs.

As a fan of hockey [go Bruins], i'm really liking your use of cloth tape. Fall winds are the worst. Our plants last year were far too tall 10-12 feet. And a lot of stems snapped.

Bring on the harvest photos and concentrates videos!!!

Hockey tape is the ticket for wind in the Fall.
I almost lost 1 branch....missed her in my taping job.
She was hanging with a devastating crack through her trunk (literally) by the time I found her, in the morning.

So, I did what any self respecting grower would do...I took that hockey tape and taped her back up so she could continue running defence on my second line. And you’d never know... lmao!

If that broken stem doesn't look like it's recovering, and the buds still need more time. You can cut the branches so you have a lot of stem, place them in water and finish them in your indoor tent.

We ran into this last year, wind broke one of our girls. We tried to tape the stem where it split at the base of the stem. Which looks to be just like your situation. The broken stem did not mend well from this quick fix. If our indoor tent was set-up we would have tried finishing that stem inside.

Again not sure that's even necessary with your plant, but it's an option if you need it.
