This is a mystery kush strain.
Unfortunately, the grower didn’t know the full strain name (of these flowers) but he did know that they were a kush.
What is known is that this kush was grown outside in Ontario, Canada.
We also know that it was grown with well composted manure and kelp as its nutrients.
It was harvested in early October (2017) and gifted to me then.
I have been curing and storing it for 5 months.
I finally decided to crack the vacuum sealed jar open to give it a try.
Apon opening the jar, my sense of smell picked up a strong but sweet citrus aroma mixed with really good stinky cheese. Yeah, imagine a sweet grapefruit with just a touch of old cheese.
It Grabs Your Attention And Makes You Want To Breathe It In
Whenever I’m shopping for dried flower, that’s one of my purchasing criteria. The buds have to make me come back for a second sniff.
I ground a gram (or so) and filled the bowl of my vaporizer
The vapourizer that I used (for this session) was a Boundless CF. It’s got a large bowl, reaches temperature quickly and offers decent battery life between charges.
Once the vapourizer reached temperature (about 190 Celsius) I inhaled.
The first flavour was a strong citrus. If pushed, I’d say grapefruit over lemon or orange. This was followed by cheese. Then menthol and finally...of all things, rose.
Yeah, rose. That was a pleasant surprise.
This strain definitely produces good vapour (which did make me cough). The high started with gentle body tingling and moved into my head.
In short order, it made me forget what I had just done, 2 minutes prior. (Like right now, I had this great point that I was going to raise about what this strain does to the body and it’s completely gone... )
Any strain that disrupts your short term memory is great for people who suffer from anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder. Both Bubba Kush and Pink Kush are known for their strong ability to temporarily disrupt the inner workings of short term memory. That’s welcoming relief to anyone who suffers from anxiety or panic attacks. It will stop brain looping, too.
Oh yeah, I just remembered that I can hardly keep my eyes open. That’s not because I’m super tired but because the strain is vasodilation the small blood vessels in my eyes.
Great strain. It’s too bad that the full strain name is unknown.
I welcome your comments and I invite you to follow me on my journey...there’s always a new strain to try. ;)
