We freeze dried the whole plant. Went into the machine at 3 lbs wet, came out 1 lb dried with 10 % humidity.
So, with the water weight inside the buds removed,
we were left with a beautiful hydrosol. (Complex terpenoid blend) that’s hitting somewhere between an eau de toilette and eau de parfum.
Not sure what I am going to make with the hydrosols yet.
Next, is to see how freeze dried concentrate will turn out.
After the Freeze Drying process, we looked at the flower under a microscope and all the trichomes and resin is still intact. It should work. Lol!
Did you test for cannabinoid levels?
