RE: Drug War Stories 2: Nailed in Nebraska over dope Christmas presents

as though that was not, but the hobby for drugs has never led people to good deeds. Another thing is that people can practically from any substances find something that they relax and are addictive, that's why in the world there are constantly substances and a ban on them .. thanks for the interesting article

Yea government is evil. The state murdered Jesus, who may have been born today. The state killed Socrates. The state did the Holocaust. The state did the Trail of Tears.

We should break our addiction to institutionalized arbitrary state violence and let people live their lives as long as they don't interfere with others.

People may make worse decisions in their own lives when they take drugs like weed or alcohol or crack or coffee. But those are their decisions. We should let people be free and try to help them if they want it. Until people want help and choose a new identity, I think intervention to their benefit will be sub optimal.

"The hobby for drugs" you call it. If I lived in a legal state my partner and I both would have a medical prescription for cannabis. I'm a vet and a little bit at night before I go to bed relieves me of just horrible dreams. It's not a hobby for a lot of people.

Also let's not make believe when it comes to the government. Cannabis prohibition was enacted in the United States by a soon to be out of work prohibitionist named Henry Ansligner who made up incredibly racist claims entirely out of whole cloth about the plant. He even gave it a new name that sounded more "mexican". Other countries followed suit after the US threw it's considerable political weight around and forced them into it.

But the War on Drugs has been one of the most destructive, and boneheaded policies maybe in human history. It absolutely does not work, and only leads to more profits for black market criminals, less safety, and increased crime that would not even exist if it were legal and regulated.
